Sharp Eye Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using Sharp Eye (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. "We", "us" and "our" mean the developer of Sharp Eye.

2. Permitted use

You may use the App for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to:

• use the App for anything unlawful;
• disrupt, overload or attack the App or its servers;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the App, except where the law allows it;
• access our servers other than through the App, or try to read or change other players' data.

3. Wallet connection

You can play without a wallet. If you choose to connect a Solana wallet:

• the App only asks your wallet to sign a free sign-in message that proves you control the wallet;
• we will never ask you to approve a transaction, send funds or share your recovery phrase or private keys. If anything claiming to be Sharp Eye asks for these, don't approve it;
• you are responsible for your wallet, your device and keeping your recovery phrase safe;
• your wallet app is provided by another company under its own terms, and we are not responsible for it.

4. XP, levels, ranks and scores

• If you play without a wallet, your progress is saved only on your phone. It is lost if you uninstall the App or clear its data.
• When you connect a wallet, progress saved on your phone is added to that wallet's profile and removed from your phone. After that, progress is saved on our game server while you are online. If a save fails, that game's progress may not be kept.
• XP, levels, ranks, streaks, scores and unlockable looks (themes, badge frames and titles) are for fun only. They have no money value, can't be bought, sold, traded or exchanged for money or prizes, and are not cryptocurrency, tokens or NFTs. They are stored on your phone or our game server, not on the blockchain.
• Progress belongs to the wallet it was earned with and can't be transferred between wallets.
• We may change how XP, levels, streaks, the daily challenge and unlockable looks work, rebalance them, or reset progress, for example to fix errors or deal with cheating.
• Your wallet address, XP, level, best scores, weekly scores and daily challenge scores may be shown publicly, for example on the in-app leaderboards. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Daily challenge

• Each day (based on UTC time) there is one daily challenge game, with the same puzzles for every player.
• You get one try per day. Leaving the game early still uses up your try, and the score you had counts. Only your first daily score each day is posted.

6. Fair play

Don't cheat. This includes changing the App, sending made-up scores or progress to our servers, using bots or scripts, using several wallets or devices to get extra daily challenge tries, or exploiting bugs. If we believe a wallet has cheated, we may remove its scores, reset its progress or block it from saving progress, without notice.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its games, design, graphics and code, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the App. They don't give you ownership of anything in it.

8. Availability and updates

We may update, change, suspend or stop the App or its online features at any time. Saving progress to your wallet profile, the daily challenge leaderboard and the other leaderboards need an internet connection and our servers, which may sometimes be unavailable. We don't guarantee that the App or saved progress will always be available.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that saved progress will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the App. We are also not responsible for any loss related to your wallet, your keys or third-party wallet apps.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling removes progress saved on your phone. To delete progress saved with your wallet, email us with your wallet address. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in them limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
